About "Finding Value"

How do we “find value” in our lives?  My public art project “Finding Value” explores the human habit for overconsumption and addiction—to drugs, food, and shopping—and its impact on urban immigrant communities.  I interleave uplifting depictions of individuals who shun consumerism in favor of social interaction and cultural awakening—better ways for people to realize their inner worth.
